Technological Studies Honorary Receives Regional Chapter Award
The Gamma Lambda Chapter of Epsilon Pi Tau International honorary society for professions in technology was awarded the William E. Warner Region 3 chapter award at the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association conference in Charlotte, N.C.
This is the third time in the last six years that Ohio Northern’s Department of Technological Studies honorary has been recognized as the top chapter in Region 3 which covers Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky and Ontario, Canada. Previous accolades were received in 2004 and 2008.
Chapter trustee David L. Rouch, Ph.D., chair of the department of technological studies, associate trustee Richard Miller, visiting instructor in technological studies and member David Mason, a junior in technology education from East Greenwich, R.I., accepted the prize at the awards program of the Epsilon Pi Tau breakfast meeting in Charlotte. This award was given in honor of the chapter’s outstanding list of service and professional activities and functions that members of the Gamma Lambda have been involved with the past year.
