Responding to the Haitian Earthquake Members of the ONU family have been quick to respond to the devastation of the recent earthquake in Haiti through a number of charitable organizations. A benefit concert is set for 7:30 p.m., Feb. 4 in the chapel. Read more.
Law Speaker to Discuss Music Property Rights Keith Aoki, professor of law at the University of California-Davis School of Law, will discuss “Theft! A History of Music,” 11:30 a.m., Jan. 28, as part of the Dean’s Lecture Series in the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law.
Broadway Conductor Phil Reno to Present Master Class Broadway conductor, musical director and arranger Phil Reno will present a master class for Ohio Northern University theatre, musical theatre and music students in Snyder Recital Hall of Presser Hall on Monday, Feb. 1.
ONU Presents 'Urinetown' The Ohio Northern University Freed Center for the Performing Arts presents the musical “Urinetown” from Feb. 10-13 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 13-14 at 2 p.m.
Master Plan Study to Begin ONU has entered into an agreement with Dillin Corp., the developers of Levis Commons near Toledo, to create a non-academic development master plan for the ONU campus and surrounding areas.
ONU to Host Indoor Marathon Think winter is the wrong time for long distance running? Not at ONU. The ONU Polar Bear Indoor Marathon, Half Marathon and Relay begins at 7:30 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 31 in the ONU Sports Center.
Food for Fines Heterick Memorial Library will celebrate National Take Back Your Time Week with a Food for Fines campaign to support the Ada Food Pantry.
Hairless for Habitat More than $1,500 was raised by ONU’s Habitat for Humanity chapter in its annual “Hairless for Habitat” event.
Kappa Epsilon Donates Baskets The members of Psi Chapter of Kappa Epsilon, the women’s professional pharmacy fraternity, donated baskets of “comfort and hope” to St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, to be used for women diagnosed with breast cancer.
