English Majors to Present Papers

Six English majors have had their creative writing or academic papers selected for presentation at the National Sigma Tau Delta Conference being held in St. Louis, Mo., March 17-20.

They are: Krissa Goncher, a senior in language arts education from New Lenox, Ill.; Lydia Bottoni, a senior in literature and professional writing from Maumee, Ohio; Kathleen Saylor, a senior in literature from Bluffton, Ohio, Samantha LaChey, a senior in literature and creative writing from Troy, Ohio; Rachel Paschal, a senior in creative writing from Lyndhurst, Ohio; and Alan Ohman, a senior in creative writing from Swanton, Ohio

This is the largest ONU representation of papers or projects accepted for the conference. The students compete against other honorary members from over 750 international chapters, many of which include graduate students.

They will be accompanied by Dr. Rob Scott, faculty advisor, who has been recognized by the organization as one of the organization’s top advisors.
