ONU Presents Tomie dePaola’s ‘Strega Nona’

The Ohio Northern University Freed Center for the Performing Arts presents Tomie dePaola’s “Strega Nona: The Musical” on Thursday, March 11, at 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m

Based on dePaola’s award-winning children’s book series, “Strega Nona” teaches children that witches can be nice and that people are not always what they seem.

Strega Nona is a kind witch trying to help the people of her little town in Italy. When her special magic book falls into the hands of the wrong person, Strega Nona must save her friends. With a fantastic score by Aron Accurso, this is sure to be a delightful experience for children and parents alike. Produced by Maximum Entertainment in association with Active Arts Theater for Young Adults, “Strega Nona The Musical,” is a spectacular, large-scale production that will wow and charm its way into all hearts.

Tickets are on sale now: $10 for general admission, $10 for senior/non-ONU students and $5 for children.
