ONU Represented on OCALI Advisory Board

Two ONU faculty members and an ONU graduate are serving as advisory board members for the Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence-disabilities (OCALI).

They are Denise D’Arca, Ph.D., professor of music, Dr. Jan Osborne, lecturer in education, and Jessica Weinberg, BA ’04, JD ’07.

OCALI is a state agency that coordinates resources and educational opportunities. It serves families, educators and professionals working with students with autism and low-incidence disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, multiple disabilities, orthopedic impairments, other health impairments, and traumatic brain injuries.

OCALI's mission is to build state- and system-wide capacity to improve outcomes through leadership, training, and professional development, technical assistance, collaboration and technology.
