Macy's Vice President to Lecture on Retailing
Ohio Northern University’s James F. Dicke College of Business Administration presents Amy Hanson, executive vice president of property development and credit and customer service at Macy’s Inc., as part of the Dean’s Distinguished Lecture Series on Thursday, Jan. 14, at 7 p.m. in the forum of Dicke Hall.
Hanson will deliver a lecture titled “Survival of the Fittest: Six Elements to Success in Retailing.” The event is free and open to the public.
As executive vice president for property development and credit and customer service at Macy’s Inc., Hanson is responsible for store design and construction, real estate, credit and customer service, sustainability, and non-merchandise purchasing.
She has led transition teams through several major organizational and operational integration processes within the company and most recently led the company’s integration to its new unified structure.
Hanson is a graduate of the Northwestern University’s Advanced Executive program and is a certified public accountant.
