Thompson-Bradshaw Named VP
Adriane L. Thompson-Bradshaw has been appointed Ohio Northern’s vice president of student affairs, effective Nov. 15, 2009.
Thompson-Bradshaw, dean of students, was named interim vice president on Sept. 26, 2008, when Alice-Kay Hilderbrand began a leave of absence. Although a national search was immediately initiated for a replacement, it was later closed as the University looked for cost-saving measures that could be implemented to help it respond to the global economic crisis.
Ohio Northern President Kendall L. Baker indicated he was “delighted to name Adriane to this key University position. She has provided excellent leadership for the division in the past year and deserves this promotion.”
Thompson-Bradshaw said, "I am excited about this opportunity to grow and develop under Dr. Baker’s leadership and to continue work with the extremely capable, creative and committed student affairs team! It is an honor and a pleasure to continue in service to the students, faculty and staff at ONU."
Thompson-Bradshaw holds a bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion and a master’s degree from Bowling Green State University. She is currently continuing her studies at BGSU. She has been employed at Ohio Northern since 1987.
