 Jayme JarrettNew Employee – Jayme Jarrett

Jayme Jarrett has joined Ohio Northern as a senior financial specialist.

A graduate of Lambuth University, Jackson, Tenn., she holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and a bachelor of arts degree in music.

Prior to coming to ONU, she was director of online degree completion admissions at Tiffin University and had worked in admissions positions at Ivy Bridge College of Tiffin University, Western Kentucky University and Lambugh University. She is involved in preparing financial aid packages.

She is married to Dustin Jarrett, an assistant director of admissions, and they are the parents  of 3-month-old Chase.




Jerry HoweNew Employee – Jerry Howe

Jerry Howe is Ohio Northern’s new purchasing agent. He has over 15 years management experience in purchasing, materials and production.

A graduate of Bluffton University, he holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master of arts in organizational management. He has also been an adjunct instructor for the University of Northwestern Ohio.

Before coming to ONU, Howe was employed at Tower Automotive, Inc., Bluffton, in positions including area buyer, materials analyst/maintenance planner/storeroom manager and production coordinator. He has also worked at Plastipak Packaging Co., in Jackson Center, Ohio, Philips Display Components in Ottawa, Ohio, and Charles River Laboratories in Spencerville, Ohio.

As purchasing agent, he is responsible for day to day purchasing operations and vendor relations.

Howe is married, and has a daughter who is a junior at Bluffton High School.




New Employee -- Chad M. Vondenhuevel


   Chad M. Vondenhuevel has joined the Pettit College of Law as assistant director of law admissions.

   He holds a degree in marketing from Miami of Ohio and has experience in marketing, communications, graphic design and web development. In his role as assistant director, Chad will be responsible for online chats, social media, publications, the admissions website, event planning and will participate in recruitment and applicant review.

 Vondenhuevel currently resides in St. Marys with his dog, Lexus (half Maltese, half Chihuahua). He is a movie buff, loves the arts and is a drummer. He backpacked across Europe for two weeks last summer and also spent four weeks studying in in Dublin, Ireland.
