Student Request Procedure - Self-Service Banner

Enrollment Verification for purposes other than loans (i.e. car insurance, health/medical insurance, jury duty, tax purposes, etc.) may be obtained either by a request via Self-Service Banner or by completing and signing an Enrollment Verification Request form and delivering it to the Registrar's Office. 

Please allow a minimum of two working days for processing Enrollment Verifications and five for mailed forms to be received.
E-mail requests are not acceptable as federal law, FERPA, requires the student's written signature to release any document containing the student's SSN.

Enrollment verifications issued before a term has begun will clearly state that the student has registered for a term that has not begun.

Self-Service Banner directions:

  1. Log into the Ohio Northern University Central Authentication Service with your ONU username and password. 
  2. Select "Student Services" and then select "Student Records," and finally select "Request Enrollment Verification."
  3. Note that you may also check the status of your requests after they are submitted by selecting "View Status of Enrollment Verification Requests."
  4. Follow instructions as guided on screen and submit.
