Advanced Placement (AP)

The university grants credit for College Entrance Examination Board Advanced Placement Tests to those high school students achieving at least the minimum score established by the department in which credit is being sought.  Test results should be sent to the university registrar.  Final decision rests with the chairperson of the department.  Some courses are Major specific.

A combined maximum of forty-five (45) quarter hours or thirty (30) semester hours of  AP, CLEP, IB, and/or ONU Institutional Examination credit can be counted toward graduation.
