Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour comes to ONU

The Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour (EET), a dynamic traveling seminar, stops at Ohio Northern University's Freed Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, April 3, from 1 to 5 p.m.

EET brings together speakers and students to spread the entrepreneurial mindset and share concepts that have helped make young entrepreneurs successful. As entrepreneurs, the speakers have all developed successful ventures and/or sold their companies for millions - all before the age of 25. The seminar will provide students with insight on distinguishing themselves and getting a head start. EET will present this seminar at more than 10 colleges across the nation this spring.

A comprehensive package, EET begins with an inspirational keynote address and continues with workshops, speed networking events and panel discussions. ONU alumnus Jason Duff will discuss his successful Northwest Ohio businesses, which include self-storage facilities, outdoor advertising and real estate ventures.

The event also features a poster session, during which ONU students will demonstrate their ideas on how to improve our society and our health care, use technology to improve our lives, and create new businesses in Northwest Ohio.

"Encouraging creative and innovative or entrepreneurial behavior in our future social and business leaders is a goal to which we aspire in the entrepreneurship program at Ohio Northern," said Daniel Ferguson, event coordinator and assistant professor of entrepreneurship in The James F. Dicke College of Business Administration.

This event is free and open to high school and junior college students, members of Northwest Ohio chambers of commerce and Ohio Northern students from all academic disciplines. Seating is limited. To sign up a class or group or to receive more information, contact the entrepreneurship program at entrepreneurship@onu.edu

This event is supported by the generous support of The Kern Family Foundation's KEEN program.
