‘The State of the African-American Church’

The Ohio Northern University Office of Multicultural Development's Cultural Conversation Hour will discuss "Still Visible and Viable: The State of the African-American Church" in the Dicke Forum on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 11:30 a.m.

Prominent area pastors will comprise the panel, which will discuss the importance and future of African-American churches. The panel consists of Rev. Melvin Woodward of Lima Community Baptist Church, Pastor Steven Henderson of Living Word Fellowship, Shane Henderson of Living Word and Edward Tibbs of New Life Christian Ministries in Lima.

Part of ONU's month-long commemoration of Black History Month, Cultural Conversation Hours are designed to engage ONU and the community in insightful discussion about current issues in diversity.

This event is free and open to the public.
