'Some Days You Eat the Bear ...'
Joseph Lisle Williams, president of Jordan Marketing Associates, will speak at Ohio Northern University on Wednesday, January 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the Biggs Theatre of the Freed Center for Performing Arts.
A 1966 graduate of Ohio Northern, Williams was mauled by a bear at age 20. This encounter inspired "Some Days You Eat the Bear ... Some Days, the Bear Eats You," a speech about resilience in individuals and organizations. This presentation offers an engaging, humorous and practical approach for understanding and developing resilience while handling daily challenges, stressful situations and major crises. Williams will teach the audience to identify opportunities to develop personal resilience.
Prior to being president of Jordan Marketing Associates, a food brokerage firm based in St. Louis, Williams held senior management positions with Banquet Foods and Golden Valley Microwave Foods. He currently resides in Chesterfield, Mo.
