President and CEO of Teva North America to Speak

William Marth, president and CEO of Teva North America, will discuss "Teva in the Pharmaceutical Industry: 2009 and Beyond" at the Carroll V. Lovett Distinguished Lecture at the Ohio Northern University Freed Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, January 22, at 7 p.m.

Teva Pharmaceuticals is the largest supplier in the generic pharmaceuticals market. The company has a wide and balanced variety of products in high demand and a strong, active pharmaceutical ingredient business to meet nearly every need. Teva employs more than 28,000 people and had sales of $9.4 billion in 2007.

Marth received his Bachelor of Science in pharmacy from the University of Illinois and his Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago. Prior to his current position with Teva, Marth was president and CEO of Teva USA and held other executive roles within Teva and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

The Carroll V. Lovett Distinguished Lecture Series was established by a bequest of Florence V. Lovett in honor of her son, Carroll Lovett, a 1961 ONU graduate and retired manager from the Xerox Corporation.

The James F. Dicke College of Business Administration sponsors the event, which is free and open to the public.
