Election GIS Exercise
Nine Ohio Northern University students participated in a recent exercise designed to simulate an election GIS (Geographic Information System). During the recent presidential election, most news agencies relied on similar systems that tabulate and automatically display election results. ONU's simulation emphasized the creation and implementation of the GIS, as well as its implications to the media, political parties and analysts.
