NCPA Presidential Scholarship

Jenn Waitzman, a fifth-year pharmacy student from Bellbrook, Ohio, and a member of ONU's National Community Pharmacists Association's (NCPA) student chapter, has been awarded an NCPA Presidential Scholarship for the 2008-09 academic year from the NCPA Foundation. She was one of 18 students from pharmacy schools across the country to receive the scholarship.

The NCPA Foundation Presidential Scholarship is awarded on the basis of leadership qualities, as well as academic achievement. Waitzman is the immediate past president of the ONU NCPA student chapter, and continues her involvement as treasurer of the chapter. She received her award at an awards ceremony held in Tampa, Fla., on Oct. 12, 2008.
