Dr. Christine North, assistant professor of communication arts, Alisa Agozzino, visiting instructor in communication arts, Dr. Jennifer Walton, assistant professor of communication arts, and Dr. Matthew Vorell, assistant professor of communication arts, attended the National Communication Association conference in San Diego. North, Agozzino and Walton will be part of a panel on "Adjunct Faculty from Multiple Perspectives: Covering Classes at Bargain Prices."
The conference allows instructors to stay current in teaching and research practices in the communication discipline and to be involved in the professional divisions. North is a member of the health communication division and the interpersonal communication division. Walton is a member of the rhetorical theory and the communication education divisions, Agozzino is a member of the public relations division, and Vorell is a member of the ethnography and organizational communication divisions.
Several of these faculty members will also be participating in the Central States Communication Association Conference next April in St. Louis, Mo. North is a planner for the conference and a division officer.
