ONU to Host Anti-Racism Speaker Tim Wise

The Ohio Northern University Office of Multicultural Development will present author and anti-racist speaker Tim Wise on Wednesday, April 18 at 7 p.m. in the McIntosh Center Activities Room.

One of the most prominent anti-racist writers and activists in the United States, Wise has spoken in 48 states and at over 400 college campuses, including Harvard, Stanford and the Law Schools at Yale and Columbia. He has provided anti-racism training to professionals in education, healthcare, government, military, law enforcement and corporate settings, as well as served as a consultant for plaintiff's attorneys in federal discrimination cases in New York and Washington State.

Wise is the author of three books, including "White Like Me: Reflections on Race from a Privileged Son." He has also contributed to essays in 15 books.

The event is free and open to the public.
