Lady Polar Bears finish tenth at BGSU Falcon Invitational

BOWLING GREEN - The ONU women's cross country team finished tenth in the 18 team field at the BGSU Falcon Invitational Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Bears finished with 313 points. Miami won the invitational with 65 points, Toledo was second with 69 points, and host Bowling Green was third with 107 points.

Competing against 191 runners, Rachel Smith lead Northern, finishing in 58th place at 19:36.

Rounding out the ONU top five was Amy Davis scoring 77th place in 19:55, Amanda Binkey was 81st in 19:58, Regina Bresson was 85th in 20:02, and Katie Andrzejewski in 87th place at 20:04.

The Lady Polar Bears are now 49-36 on the season.

ONU will be in action on October 27th for the OAC Championships at John Carroll beginning at 11:00 am.
