The Ohio Northern University Astronomy Club invites ONU students, faculty and staff as well as Ada and the surrounding communities to “The Galaxies of Spring,” an astronomy event in the ONU Observatory on Friday, May 6, from 9 to 11 p.m.
During the viewing, telescopes will first follow the crescent moon as it descends in the west and then Saturn as it rises in the east. After twilight, participants will hunt down some galaxies near the North Galactic Pole, which will be well placed near the meridian.











Ohio Northern University student Matthew Dutro, a junior management major from Dayton, Ohio, was elected to the Society for Advancement of Management (SAM) Executive Board at the SAM International Business Conference in Orlando, Fla, which took place from Thursday, March 31, to Sunday, April 3.
Ohio Northern University’s Society for Advancement of Management (SAM) chapter took first place in the Campus Chapter Performance competition this year at the Society for the Advancement of Management’s International Business Conference, which took place in Orlando, Fla., from March 31 to April 3.
Joseph Clarkson, an Ohio Northern University junior communications major from Huntingdon, Pa., was elected to the Public Relations Student Society of America’s (PRSSA) National Committee as the national vice president for internships and job services. This position requires that Clarkson develop and promote national internship directories, services and programs for members of PRSSA nationwide.
