SAM Team Captures Second

The Ohio Northern University Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) two-person team of Andrew Michel, a junior marketing major from Clayon, Ohio, and Atlantis Ricther, a sophomore marketing major from Franklin, Ind., captured second place at the Tau Pi Phi Case Competition held at Capital University from March 28-29.

The ONU SAM team competed against 17 teams comprised of students from Capital University, Juniata College, Marietta College, Mount Union College, Ohio Dominican University and Wittenberg University.

The teams were asked to analyze and present two Harvard Business School Publishing Cases after reviewing them for four hours.

ONU SAM members Kathleen Sponseller, a freshman management major from Payne, Ohio, and Jared Everline, a sophomore management major from Canton, Ohio, also competed in the event.
