ONU Students Raise Record $44,300 for Charity

Up ‘til Dawn, a student fundraiser for St. Jude's Children's Hospital, raised a record $44,300.82 through a letter writing appeal and other activities. On Jan. 25, the Ohio Northern University students celebrated with entertainment, games and food at the ONU Sports Center.

Student leaders for the event were Daniel M. Martone, a senior in accounting from North Olmsted, Ohio; Levi G. Good, a sophomore in management from West Unity, Ohio; Nathan A. Harris, a junior in civil engineering from Alexandria, Ohio; Ashley J. Ewing, a junior in marketing from McComb, Ohio; Heather M. Karkalik, a sophomore in biology from Lorain, Ohio; Gregory S. Syler, a junior in accounting from Louisville, Ohio; Douglas J. Hoersten, a junior in mechanical engineering from Ottoville, Ohio; Nicole E. Muryn, a senior in international business from Gahanna, Ohio; and Patrick D. Symmonds, a fourth-year pharmacy student from Columbus, Ohio.

The Up 'til Dawn event culminates six months of fundraising activities to benefit the kids of St. Jude.
