ONU Hosts Master Class with Phil Reno

Phil Reno, Broadway conductor, musical director and arranger, will present a master class for Ohio Northern University theatre, musical theatre and music students on Monday, Jan. 28, from 7 to 9 p.m. in Biggs Theatre at the Freed Center for the Performing Arts.

"We are very fortunate to have someone of his caliber come and work with our students," explained Kirsten E. Osbun-Manley, resident artist in music and lecturer in music and musical theatre at Ohio Northern.

Reno has worked on a variety of Broadway productions, including "The Producers," "Thou Shalt Not," "Cats," "Dame Edna: The Royal Tour" and "Back with a Vengeance." He has lent his talents to arrangements and orchestrations for Garry Marshall and Paul Williams' "Happy Days," as well as for the television show "Broadway Under the Stars" and the motion picture production of "The Producers."
