Receiving Packages

  • Mail received from the USPS will be delivered to the ONU Mail Center Monday thru Friday.
  • All items will be placed into the unit box no later than 11:30am.
  • Items larger than the unit box will be scanned and held in the ONU Mail Center.
  • All students receiving items larger than the unit box will receive a notification email stating there is an item in the Mail Center ready to pick up.
  • All items requiring a signature from the USPS, FedEx or UPS will not be placed in the unit box no matter the size.
  • The ONU Mail Center staff will initially sign for the item and an email notification will be sent to the recipient.
  • The ONU Mail Center reserves the right of refusal of items deemed inappropriate or unacceptable on campus.

  • All students (domestic and international) must show proof of age when receiving any alcoholic beverages.
  • The item(s) can only be released to the name addressed on the package and the recipient must be a minimum of 21 years of age when item(s) is/are received.
  • The ONU Mail Center does not accept any alcoholic beverages. All items received will be returned to the sender.
  • All items received displaying a name that is not within the ONU database, will be returned to the sender.
  • Please notify the ONU Mail Center if you will be expecting an item that will display a different name.
