Receiving and Delivery
All All mail received by the ONU Mail Center staff from the USPS is sorted and prepared for campus delivery Monday thru Friday, twice per day; once in the morning and again in the afternoon.
If you have campus mail that requires same day delivery, it must be received with morning mail collections to reach the intended recipient that afternoon. All campus mail received with afternoon collections will be delivered the following business day.
All UPS and FedEx items received for the campus departments, faculty or staff will begin deliveries at 2:00pm Monday thru Friday.
If personal (non ONU business) items are scheduled to be delivered, contact the ONU Mail Center with the tracking number to arrange for pick up. The ONU Mail Center will not deliver personal items to the campus departments.
All items with a tracking number will require a signature prior to releasing to a department. If someone is not available, the item will be returned to the ONU Mail Center and a second attempt will be made the following business day.
Effective September 1, 2017 the ONU Mail Center cannot transport and deliver items over 70 pounds. If items are received that are in excess of 70 pounds, the recipent will need to make arrangements to pick up the item in the Mail Center.
