Retiree Benefits and Information
Qualified retirees of ONU have access to insurance coverage both before and after the age of 65. If you were hired on full-time prior to Aug. 1, 2001, and work until a qualified retirement, you may be eligible to participate. Please see your appropriate employee handbook on the Policies and Procedures page of our website for eligibility details.
From age 62-64, your retiree-only coverage will be provided by OneExchange, which manages a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) where funds are deposited to be used for qualified medical expenses or premiums.
Age 65 and over, our retirees receive assistance with a Medicare supplement plan and prescription drug plan. The assistance is provided by OneExchange, which manages a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) where funds are deposited for submitted medical expenses or premiums.
