HEALTH CENTER

The Mission of the Student Health Center is to encourage, teach, counsel and treat students by enhancing the educational process by modifying or removing health-related barriers to learning, promoting optimal wellness, enabling individuals to make informed decisions about health-related concerns, and empowering students to be self-directed and well-informed consumers of health care.

The Student Health Service at Ohio Northern University is a well equipped medical office for the ill or injured student.  The Student Health Service strives to teach student to become increasingly responsible for their own health care.  In order that cost consideration not interfere with needed treatment of illnesses, the University provides certain medical services and offers a basic health insurance program at an additional cost to students.

A physician and/or nurse is on duty at the Health Center Office or on call for emergencies anytime school is in session.
