Ohio Northern University hosted its annual homecoming weekend for former students to return to campus on Oct. 21-23. This year’s theme “Polar Bear State of Mind” encouraged both students and alumni to capture the spirit of ONU.

Highlights from the weekend included the Homecoming parade in downtown Ada, a tailgate lunch in the King Horn Field House, an activities tent outside of King Horn, and the Homecoming football game vs. Muskingum University at Dial-Roberson Stadium. The Polar Bears defeated the Fighting Muskies 44-3.

The William L. Robinson Young Alumni Award recipients, Tonya J. Hunter and Chester Kaczor, were honored prior to the football game. Hunter and Kaczor received this award for their passion and loyalty toward their profession, community and alma mater. During halftime of the football game, Katie Seeco from Alpha Xi Delta and Christian Theriault from Phi Gamma Delta won Homecoming queen and king.

Director of alumni relations, Annmarie Baumgartner said, “We welcome alumni and their families to visit campus, participate in the many events that are planned, and remember what ONU means to them.” We hope to see you next year for another memorable Homecoming weekend.
