2017 Commencement

Commencement is a celebratory time on campus for graduates and their families and friends. Below are the dates and times for the 2017 Commencement Ceremonies. If you don't see the answer to your question, please  ‘Ask us a Question About Commencement’

  • ONU’s 2017 Law Commencement will be held on ONU’s campus on Sunday, May 21, at 2 p.m. in the King Horn Sports Center. (LIVE STREAMING AVAILABLE)
  • Rehearsals for the Commencement ceremonies will be held the Saturday before the scheduled date. The Law Commencement rehearsal will be Saturday, May 20, at 1 p.m.

Law Commencement

Saturday, May 20

1-2 p.m. Commencement Rehearsal Sports Center Rehearsal for graduating students and others who will participate in the commencement.

Sunday, May 21

9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Brunch The Inn at ONU

Adults $18.95, graduating law students $10.00, children 4-13 $7.95, children 3 and under are free.

A $10.00 discount is applied for an in-house guest who presents a valid Inn-breakfast coupon

12:30 p.m. Sports Center Opens Sports Center Guests should arrive by 1 p.m. and be seated by 1:30 p.m.
1:20 p.m. Processional Assembly Gymnasium, Sports Center Graduating students and faculty assemble.
1:30 p.m. Musical Prelude Field House, Sports Center  
1:45 p.m. Academic Processional Field House, Sports Center  
2-3:30 p.m. Commencement Field House, Sports Center LIVE STREAMING AVAILABLE
3:30 p.m. Recessional Field House, Sports Center  
Reception After Graduation A reception for graduates and their guests will be held in the law building about 15 minutes after the Commencement Recessional.
