Based on the novel by Sue Monk Kidd, The Secret Life of Bees chronicles what happens to a young girl during her search for the truth about her mother. Set during the civil rights movement, The Secret Life of Bees shows that with the help of three bee-keeping sisters, it is possible to discover the real meaning of family. This performance is suggested for ages 12 and up. There will be a pre-show discussion at 7:15 p.m. as well as a post-show discussion.
