Please join us for An Evening for the Arts, a "behind the curtain" open house event showcasing the music, fine arts, and performing arts departments at Ohio Northern University. An Evening for the Arts will feature showcases and displays from fine arts students, instrumental and vocal performances from music students, technical theater portfolios on display, monologues, scenes, musical duets, and dance performances from students in the performing arts department. A reception offering food and drink in the lobby will begin at 6:00pm, with performances starting at 6:30-8:00pm. Performances and displays will be happening continuously and simultaneously throughout the evening. This event for the students by the students was planned and produced by senior musical theater and communications studies major, Hayley Reynolds.
Hayley Reynolds is a senior musical theater and communication studies major from Toledo, Ohio. She has performed in numerous Freed Center productions, most notably as Pixel inThe ONU Holiday Spectacular for the past three years. She will making her final appearance on the Freed Center stage in Footloose this spring. She spent a semester during her college career studying at The Second City, Chicago's premier improv and comedy conservatory. Hayley is also the president of Lambda Pi Eta, a sister of Delta Zeta, a co-captain of Fearless Shenanygans, ONU's improv troupe, a President's Club Core-Group Leader, the voice of the Freed Center on WONB radio, a member of Theta Alpha Phi, and has served as the Getty College of Arts and Sciences College Representative on Student Senate.
