KEEN Innovation Challenge
Exercise your mind creatively for a chance to win $100!
All KEEN Innovation Challenges will be held from 11:00-11:50 a.m. in Science Annex 105.
Are you competitive? Do you think outside of the box? Are you creative? Could you use a little extra spending money? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, we’re looking for you!
KEEN at Ohio Northern University is looking for innovators to participate in the first KEEN Innovation Challenge of the school year. All ONU students, faculty and staff are welcome.
Teams of three are required and each team must include at least one engineering or computer science major. If you don’t know one, don’t worry! Participants can either form teams prior to the event, or show up ten minutes early and the facilitator will match you up with a team.
This challenge allows for participants to exercise their minds just as they would their bodies. Teams are given 45 minutes to complete an impromptu challenge. Whichever team best completes the challenge wins $100 per teammate. Each participant invited to submit an essay reflection about the challenge within 48 hours of its completion. The winning essay reflection will receive an additional $100.
KEEN Innovation Challenges are sponsored by the Kern Entrepreneurship Education Network and Ohio Northern University. For additional information you can contact Katie Mefferd by email or by phone at 419-772-3591.
