Girls Basketball Camp


Ohio Northern University and Ada, Ohio are located on State Route 235 (four miles south of Hwy. 30 and four miles north of Hwy. 309). We are located just 15 miles east of Lima and 24 miles south of Findlay. We are only 75 miles south of Toledo, 75 miles north of Dayton and 85 miles northwest of Columbus.

Sessions are open to girls who will begin grades 5-12 after September 1, 2010.
Date: June 6-9


$300. This covers everything but the individual’s spending money. A camp bank is provided. A $50 non-refundable deposit must accompany the registration form. The balance can be paid at registration time. Parents who desire may pay the full $300 in advance. Please make checks payable to: ONU Women's Basketball. Campers who do not wish to spend the night may commute. Commuters will receive lunch and dinner (cost $250)

Medical Facilities:

A student majoring in athletic training will be available daily. Lima Memorial and Bluffton Hospital are each only 20 minutes from campus. Each camper is covered by accident insurance.


It’s excellent! Every camper gets as much as she wants. Meals will be served in the student union (McIntosh Center). The last meal served will be the last day of camp at noon.


Held between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on opening day at an assigned residence hall on the campus of Ohio Northern (more information will be sent in camper's registration packet). Parents are encouraged to stay for the first meeting at 7:45 p.m.

Check Out and Departure:

Room inspection: key turn-in at 4 p.m. (on Wednesday). Parents may pick up their youngsters at the residence hall at 4 p.m.

Equipment Needed:

A packing list will be sent to each camper upon registering for camp.

Roommate Assignments:

There must be a mutual consent when requesting a roommate.

Campus Facilities:

  • Campers will be housed in the college residence halls (two campers to a room).
  • Instruction and games will be conducted at the ONU Sports Center.
  • The campus and facilities are readily available for the use and enjoyment of campers.
