For the third year in a row, Ohio Northern University asked its incoming freshman class for a gesture of goodwill toward their new home, to give back to the community before receiving anything from it for themselves. And for the second year in a row, ONU students answered the call with enthusiasm and purpose and made the second annual Ada Civic Engagement (ACE) Day a success and the village of Ada an even more beautiful place. Student Groups—There are more than 150 student organizations on campus, which engage in service projects that benefit the surrounding commuties.

In addition to her role as first lady at Ohio Northern University, Chris Burns-DiBiasio serves as director of community relations. At Northern, she has been directly involved in establishing Get Connected ONU, Ada Civic Engagement (ACE) Day and the Affinity Gardens, and she has worked closely with Sodexho to establish dining enhancements.
