Website Instructions: Basic Formatting

Hard Return(Enter Button) vs. Soft Return

  • Create a hard return by just clicking the return key on your keyboard. This creates a paragraph with a normal amount of spacing. In Safari a hard return may move the cursor to the top of the text box.
  • Create a soft return by holding the shift key while clicking the return key. This inserts a break tag and uses less vertical space.
