ANN CAPE, CLASS OF 2016, BFA IN MUSICAL THEATRE; MINOR IN ARTS ADMINISTRATION

COMPANY MANAGER, THE SOUND OF MUSIC NATIONAL TOUR

This minor was a perfect introduction to a side of the industry that never follows a textbook. It’s an ever-changing industry, and the classes I took helped develop the intuition and problem-solving skills that I use every day. I really love my job! I get to work in the theatre almost every day – a dream come true. Even if you want to be a performer or designer, it’s helpful and important to understand the administrative side. This minor gives you the confidence and capability to continue your career in the arts through all the years to come.
