Summer Piano Camp

ONU's Fifth Annual Piano Camp

The Theme: Music In Nature

July 23-27 , 2018

Bird songs, ocean waves, leaves rustling in the breeze, thunderstorms, soft rain, the view from a mountain top, the stillness of the forest, the scampering of woodland creatures… This year campers will explore music which depicts nature, and also will have the chance to create their own nature-inspired composition to be performed at the end of the week. Students will have the opportunity to improve their own solo piece during daily master classes, and play in a duet or trio - all featured in a recital on Friday. Campers will also participate in activities to further develop their musical skills such as ear-training, improvisation, and movement.
