Environmental Studies

THE MINOR IN ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES IS OFFERED THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGICAL AND ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES. IT IS AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS MAJORING IN PROGRAMS OUTSIDE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGICAL AND ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES. NONā€MAJORS MAY TAKE TWO MINORS FROM WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT BY TAKING ALL REQUIRED COURSES FOR EACH OF THE MINORS PLUS EIGHT ADDITIONAL HOURS OF BIOL COURSES.

Students pursuing the Environmental Studies minor can choose from courses on cells and molecules, organismal biology, diversity of life, environmental issues, natural history, and environmental ethics and law.
