Careers in Advertising Design
Our graduates from the advertising design program can find work in firms, agencies, multimedia and broadcasting, educational institutions, or opt to continue their educational training in graduate school after which they can teach at the collegiate level or pursue a living as a free-lance designer.
There are four major types of advertising jobs:
1. Planning and coordination by client services;
2. Creative development and execution of individual advertisements by writers and designers;
3. Choosing of the channels of communication or media that will carry or distribute the advertising messages:
4. Research to supply the data to help carry out the functions in other areas.
