Support the College

Were you inspired by a former professor? Were you a scholarship recipient and want to pay it forward? Do you have a passion for what we do in the college? From music to biology, education to political science, your support of the Getty College of Arts & Sciences will impact the lives of our students. Give to the College of Arts & Sciences Dean's Opportunity Fund: The Dean's Opportunity Fund is one avenue to ensure that students in the college can participate fully in off-campus opportunities to deepen and share their learning. The fund is also used for special faculty and student projects. Visit ONU Give today to make your annual gift.

Establish a Scholarship: Create an endowed scholarship and leave a lasting legacy at ONU. Scholarships enable you to honor a family member, express your passion for your field of study, and provide financial assistance to current and future A&S students for years to come. If you are interested in establishing an endowed scholarship, please call the Office of University Advancement at 1-866-ONU-GIVE (1-866-668-4483).

Join the Club: ONU recognizes the generosity of individuals who have made significant financial commitments to the University. The Henry Solomon Lehr Society is the premier recognition society for leading donors who give $1,000 or greater each academic year. Membership in the Heritage Club is open to all alumni and friends who include the University in their will for $10,000 or more or have arranged deferred gifts of $10,000 or more with ONU as the ultimate beneficiary.

 

Work Directly with our Students and Faculty

Another way to stay connected to your alma mater is by giving of your time and talents. Alumni volunteers are key factors in maintaining the College of Arts & Sciences' high standard of excellence. Check out the following ways in which you can volunteer your time and talents.

Offer an internship: Students in the College of Arts & Sciences students make wonderful interns; they are hard-working, bright and dependable. Encourage your company to offer an internship to a current A&S student. You will receive a highly motivated intern while giving the student practical, hands-on experience. To offer an internship, email a-and-s@onu.edu, and someone form the dean's office will direct your inquiry to the appropriate College of Arts & Sciences program.

Refer a student: Alumni have the opportunity to refer talented students to attend Ohio Northern University. If you know of a young adult who exemplifies what Northern is all about, please fill out our online referral form today.

Request a speaker: Faculty members in the College of Arts & Sciences are knowledgeable about a wide array of subjects and are available to speak to diverse groups of people.
