Donald A. Wietmarschen, of Zanesville, Ohio, has been selected by the faculty of the Ohio Northern University College of Law as the alumni recipient of its 2007 Pro Bono/Public Interest Award. Jeffrey S. Snell, a third-year law student from Columbus, Ohio, is the student recipient. Ohio Northern University's Gospel Ensemble will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a reunion weekend and anniversary concert at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 21 in the ONU Chapel. The Third District Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments in one criminal case and one civil case at Ohio Northern University's Pettit College of Law in the moot court room (129) at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 20. The Ohio Northern University Alumni Jazz Band will present a concert on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 8 p.m. in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of Ohio Northern University. The concert will feature musical selections that pay tribute to the late Maynard Ferguson. The Alumni Jazz Band was founded in 1991 by Dr. Edwin L. Ohio Northern University will be conducting its Academic Honor Scholarship recognition day Saturday, Jan. 27th. This is the third of four on-campus scholarship evaluations days that attract high ability applicants.
