1. The Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio
200 E. Livingston Ave.
Columbus, OH 43207
Limit 10 Volunteers
Club Board Contact:
The Pharmacy's primary purpose is to work to create a bridge pharmacy to increase access to affordable prescription medications for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured individuals who experience gaps in their insurance coverage and/or challenges in accessing medications.
The Pharmacy will also provide counseling and education to ensure that clients take medications properly and are aware of clinics and programs that can help them access continuing medical care or find a medical home.
Rising unemployment and increasing healthcare expenses have resulted in an increasing number of people who cannot afford to purchase their prescription medications. The Charitable Pharmacy can help by filling prescriptions for: high-cost, brand name medications for which there is no generic alternative; those who are in the process of connecting to existing programs; and those who cannot afford generic drugs due to multiple prescriptions.
Volunteers will be asked to help sort prescriptions.

Habitat’s ReStore is a discount home improvement store that accepts and re-sells new and reusable home improvement building materials. The store is open to the public and revenue from sales directly offsets the administrative costs of Habitat for Humanity-Greater Columbus. Individuals, stores, businesses, general contractors, home remodeling contractors, and others regularly donate new and reusable materials from home remodeling projects, new overstock inventory, samples, scratch and dent items, and much more. We also remove and salvage materials from buildings being demolished. These materials are sold to the public at approximately 50% off retail prices.
