Hayride and Bonfire

Under 2 are free
We will begin the evening with a 45-minute tractordriven hayride and then gather around a crackling bonfire. The club will provide water bottles and supplies to make s’mores. The bonfire will be available for two hours after the hayride. You are welcome to stay for a little while or until the fire goes out!

Come and enjoy an evening with fellow area Polar Bears listening to jazz in the Sculpture Garden! This event is free, the ONU Washington D.C. Alumni Club will provide some snacks but feel free to bring your own picnic items and listen to a free outdoor concert. Look for the ONU Flag find our alumni group.

Sculpture Garden is located at the intersection of 7th and Constitution Avenue in Washington D.C.
Directly across from the National Gallery of Art and the National Archives.Limited street parking available, nearest Metro stops are Smithsonian and L’Enfant Plaza on the Orange and Blue line and the Archives/Navy Memorial on the Yellow and Green Lines.
National Gallery of Art guidelines for the bringing food items:
“Guests may purchase food and beverages from the Pavilion Café and its carts located around the Garden or bring their own picnics. Alcoholic beverages may not be brought to the premises from outside and are subject to confiscation. Security officers reserve the right to inspect all items brought into the Sculpture Garden.”

POLAR DEBATE: Thursday, September 25, 2008, at 6:30 p.m.
The first event was a "Polar Debate" at Capital City Brewing Company in Downtown, located next to the Convention Center and Grand Hyatt. This event featured ONU Associate Professor of Political Science Robert Alexander, BA '94. Dr. Alexander provided his view on "Who will be our next President?" Event included appetizers and drinks.
