Objectives:
1) Discuss the requirements for dispensing prescriptions in a case-based format
2) Discuss the requirements of pharmacists regarding controlled substance dispensed for weight reduction.
3) Discuss the legal requirements of dispensing medication when a patient is out of refills
4) Discuss the legal requirements of prescription transfers
5) Discuss the requirements for prescriptions issued electronically
6) Discuss recent changes in Ohio pharmacy laws and rules

Ohio Northern University is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. The program is acceptable for Ohio Jurisprudence.  This knowledge-based program is acceptable for 0.1 CEU’s. UAN 0048-0000-10-037-L03-P. Please allow 4-6 weeks for statements of Credit to be issued.
