This presentation will address regulations and financial incentives driving renewable energy in Ohio.
Topics to be discussed will include:
- Ohio Senate Bill 221 – renewable energy requirements for utilities
- Solar, wind, and biogas opportunities
- Renewable energy certificates
- 50kW solar financial summary addressing state grants and other incentives available
- 93kW solar project case study addressing federal grants and the complete project
- Development cycle from concept to completion.

SPEAKERS:
Steve Giles, Principal, Hull & Associates, Inc. has nearly 25 years of experience encompassing a wide range of utility industry financial operations and commercial negotiations, and business development activities, including direct sales, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. He holds a Bachelor of Science, double major in Accounting and Finance, and a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Dayton.
Craig E. Kasper, Senior Energy Consultant, Hull & Associates, Inc. creates alternative and renewable energy opportunities in the public and private sectors; identifies, designs and implements energy efficiency improvements for commercial and industrial customers; and works with electric utilities on various infrastructure upgrades. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University and a Master of Business Administration from Kent State University.
