Melissa Csuhran
I currently live in Greenville, South Carolina and am a Program Manager for Rosetta, a consulting-centered interactive agency.
Attending ONU changed my life! I leveraged my education and involvement with organizations to obtain my first job. I credit Ohio Northern University for my communication skills, leadership ability and desire for continued professional development. Recently, I started a side business (www.facebook.com/blingblingbaby0) making head bands and hair flair for baby, toddler and little girl fashionistas. Most of my first purchases were from ONU alumnae, who have continued to support me in my “real world” endeavors. I’m forever grateful for my education, professors and incredible college friends.
My most memorable experience was being a member of my sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta. The best days of my life were sorority events and spending time in the sorority house. I made lifelong friends who I vacation with and still keep in contact with on a daily basis. I’m so blessed to be part of such an incredible group of women.
If I could give any advice to future ONU polar bears, it would be to get involved with every organization that sounds interesting to you and take advantage of ONU’s small classroom size by becoming friends with your professors!
In my spare time I enjoy traveling, attending church, reading/book club, cooking/baking Pinterest recipes, serving as the Marketing Advisor for the Clemson University chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta, and being involved with a young professionals organization that provides social, professional and leadership development opportunities.
