Grading Modes
All coursework is graded in the normal grading mode unless otherwise indicated in the course description (e.g., HSPS 000, graded S/U) or in text preceeding the courses (e.g., 'All AHPE courses graded S/U).
-
Audit
A student can audit selected courses with the approval of the department in which the course is offered. Activity, studio and laboratory courses cannot be audited. To audit means that the student cannot participate in class laboratories or examinations. An automatic grade of AU is recorded and does not impact GPA calculation. Audit must be declared in the first week of the quarter. -
S/U
In courses graded S/U, the grade of S is equivalent to a C or better. -
