The Ohio Northern University tuition remission policy is designed for all dependent children under the age of 25 (including legally adopted children) and spouses of full-time University employees. This policy entitles the spouse or dependent to full remission of tuition and general fee for undergraduate level educational courses offered at the University. Spouses and dependent children are not entitled to remission of other fees of the University, e.g. technology fee. Benefits are available only for undergraduate level educational courses offered at the University. Pharmacy majors are considered graduate students in their 5th and 6th years. All graduate programs are excluded from remission.
The Ohio Northern University tuition reimbursement policy is designed to assist full-time employees who enroll in graduate level coursework (master or doctoral degree) to enhance their current academic and administrative skill sets. Support staff positions will now be able to receive tuition reimbursement. Administrative employees and faculty (doctoral degree only) will continue to receive this benefit. However, faculty employees are governed by the faculty handbook under section 4.15. Please reference this handbook for the policy related to faculty classifications of employees. For support staff and administrative positions, the degree of choice must be in an academic area that would be beneficial to enhancing and developing the employee's employment with Ohio Northern University.
