Senior Design Projects

All students in the ECCS department are required to complete a year-long senior design project.   Each project team researches an open-ended problem statement, develops a proposal, designs a prototype, validates the design, produces a deliverable, and reports the results.   As part of the experience, students deal with various management issues and technical aspects of design.   Both industry- and faculty-sponsored projects are offered.  To find out more, follow the links below, where all aspects of project documentation are available on each team’s website.   Our "truly interdisciplinary" approach provides valuable real-world experiences and prepares our graduates for their industrial careers.
