Study Abroad

As businesses continue to expand into the global realm, it becomes increasingly important for students to understand how to work in an international environment. Studying abroad helps students expand their knowledge beyond the parameters of the classroom and the borders of the United States. Students develop a greater cultural sensitivity, make themselves more valuable to potential employers and become better citizens of the ever-changing world. Furthermore, studying abroad is an excellent opportunity for individual growth and intellectual development. Students who study abroad tend to grow in confidence and independence and make lifelong contacts and friends around the globe.
The James F. Dicke College of Business Administration students, particularly international business and economics majors, are encouraged to study abroad during their undergraduate career.
